Easy Quiche

From the kitchen of employee, Kathy W., Omaha, NE

This is my aunt’s recipe — she just turned 90. It’s a simple recipe for a delicious quiche. You can change it up depending on what you have in your fridge, too. I have used bacon, cheese and broccoli before or hamburger, Mexican cheese and taco seasoning and both have turned out great!”

Ingredients

9" frozen pie crust
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
4 teaspoons flour
3 eggs
1/2 cup diced ham
1 cup milk or light cream
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Sprinkle flour into the bottom of the pie shell, then cover with ham. Beat the eggs, milk, salt and mustard until smooth. Add mix to the pan — along with a few of your favorite veggies, if you like — then top with cheese. Bake the quiche in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Or you can freeze the uncooked quiche and bake it at another time at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
